Monica Deavers
Monica has been an Austintown resident since 1972 and graduated from Austintown Fitch in 1983. She married her husband, Stacey, in 2020. Monica has three children, April, Mark, Matthew, and six grandchildren, Alexis, Ace, Luke, Owen, Olivia, and Eli. Luke currently attends Austintown schools with Owen, Olivia, and Eli soon to follow. She has owned Austintown Charly’s since 2010 and has worked in the business since its inception in 1986. She is a member of the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber of Commerce. Monica is a proud member of Evening Light Apostolic Church. In her free time, she enjoys fishing with her husband, shopping with her mom, or visiting her home away from home in the Outer Banks.
ROBERT SANTOS
Robert John Santos was born on February 18, 1981, in Salem, Massachusetts. In 2002, Robert received his Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice and then enlisted into the United States Marine Corps as a Military Police Officer where he honorably served eleven years. During his service, Robert held numerous positions ranging from Patrol Supervision, Watch Commander, Security Chief, and Anti-Terrorism Force Protection Officer. In 2010, Robert was selected to become a Marine Corps Recruiter for the Trumbull and Mahoning County area.
In 2013, Robert was medically retired due to injuries he sustained in the Marine Corps and proudly made Austintown his permanent home where he married his best friend, Kristan Santos. They live with their three sons, Konnor, Timothy, and Logan. Robert volunteers frequently with various local organizations throughout the Valley. Robert’s hobbies include sports, reading, outdoor activities, and volunteering his time within the community. Robert is an Advisor with the Non-Profit Organization USS Oklahoma and is a member of the Austintown Rotary, Disabled American Veterans of Chapter 2 located in Austintown, and the Austintown American Legion Post 301.
Bruce Shepas
Bruce Nicholas Shepas is a lifelong resident of Austintown. He married his wife
Lisa in 2008 and has two daughters, Talia and Alexandria. Bruce has co-owned
Austintown Bounce Indoor Play Center & Rentals since 2007. He retired from the
Federal Bureau of Prisons in September of 2023, with a combined 30 years in law
enforcement, and is the Treasurer of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #193.
Bruce volunteers on various local committees, enjoys weight lifting and attending
local and Cleveland sporting events.
LAURA L WOLFE
Laurie was appointed as Austintown Township Fiscal Officer in January 2012 to complete the office’s unexpired term ending March 31, 2012. She was then retained to fulfill the next term beginning April 1, 2012.
Laurie graduated from Youngstown State University in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She majored in Accounting and minored in Finance and Economics. Laurie had previously worked as the township accountant from 1992 – until she resigned in 2005 to raise her family.
Laurie is a current member of the Finance Committee of St. Joseph’s Church in Austintown. She volunteers at various events throughout the community.
